Year 1 and 2 West African Drumming Workshops

Year 1 and 2 were very lucky to have a visit from Emmanuel from Inspire-Works this week, who taught them about West African drumming techniques and rhythms. They made a fantastic noise, and had a brilliant time!

    

    

 

Year 5 Sculptures

Year 5 we have been learning about Sculptures of the human form. They first made sculptures using foil, bending the arms and legs to make different actions. Then They went on to study sculptures made by the artist Giacometti. Our wired clay sculptures are inspired by some of his work.

Laver Cup 2022

Mr Hart and Miss Smith accompanied children to the Laver Cup match at the 02. They were excited to be able to watch Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal play against Andy Murry and Novak Djokovic.

This was Roger Federer's final match before his retirement
