Book Trust

Book Trust is the largest children's reading charity in the UK. It aims to get children and families reading.

It offers lots of online books, videos, games,quizzes and competitions for all ages. There are tips and advice for parents on reading and  how to read with children.

National Literacy Trust

The National Literacy Trust is an independent  charity dedicated to giving children the literacy skills they need to succeed. Family Zone is divided into age groups - Birth to 4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13+. There are free online books to read, art and craft activities, author interviews, advice on writing and even how to spot fake news!  Lots of  interesting, fun  activities to keep everyone busy at home and develop reading, writing and language skills. Also, there are tips and advice to support parents.
