Thursday

Today is World Book Day, and we want to give the children the whole day to enjoy books and stories at home, on video and on the World Book Day website!

We have put some ideas on Purple Mash of stories and events to tune in to. There are also some challenges your child can complete...

1. Listen to the World Book Day Song by MC Grammar! How many books can you spot in the song, that you already know? Send us a list, and the person who spots the most will win a prize!!

2. Take a photograph of yourself doing some extreme reading! Can you read somewhere strange...somewhere scary...upside down...in a brilliant costume...or just in a really extreme way? Send us a picture and we will share them on the class page!

Below are some great links you can follow to find free books, videos and stories to keep you reading all day. Have fun reading!
