School Journey 28th October - 1st November 2019

Friday 1st November

School Journey

Parents, when you come to collect your child today from school journey, please make your way to the downstairs hall to wait for your child. Staff will send children in to the hall to meet you, our staff will unload and organise the luggage outside the reception area for you to collect on your way out , please do not wait on the pavement outside school as this will cause congestion. We will keep you updated will the approximate time of their return later today.

This morning the children woke up to light rain, the first they have had all week. After breakfast they had activities to participate in while waiting for the coach to arrive.

Tuesday 29th October

The children started their group activities today and will have a go at all the activities over the week. Those who went abseiling all managed to challenge themselves and succeed in completing their abseil.

On site, Peat Rigg have two zip lines, the low and the high. They offer a great progression in challenge. Flying through the forest at speed is an experience the children never forget. Every member of the team offers support and encouragement enabling each other to reach new heights and take the leap...
