School Assemblies

Assemblies

Currently, due to the change in timings of our school day, our assemblies are on a rota system.

We do however continue to have our Celebration assembly on Fridays. This is carried out virtually and includes the whole of KS1 and KS2.

Under normal circumstances, our assembly schedule is as follows:

Due to the size of our school halls we rarely have whole school assemblies. YR1,2&3 have daily assemblies in the downstairs hall and YR4,5&6 have daily assemblies in the upstairs hall.

Monday -These assemblies are always "Value" based and  led by a pair of teachers. They allow children time to engage and reflect collectively

Tuesday -  Senior Leadership lead these assemblies and they are either linked to a "Value" or a current affair issue. They offer children time to reflect as a community.

Wednesday -These assemblies usually focus on community singing and they are led by Miss Lewis-Kennedy, Miss Pearson and Miss Gani.

Thursday - These assemblies are "early assemblies" so that parents and carers can join us when each class takes their turn to lead. When it is not a class assembly, it is led by a senior leader who will follow the "Value" of the week.

Friday - Celebration assembly. These assemblies focus on celebrating the school community achievements.
