Home Learning Plan 30.03.20

Dear Parents/Carers,

 

  We would like to thank you for your support over the last couple of weeks. It's been a difficult time for all of us and we appreciate how daunting this might feel for you and your children. We want to let you know that we are here for any support you might need. 

 

   We will be updating you regularly with a weekly Home Learning Plan. We will also be posting videos onto Tapestry of our new phonics sounds and our Story of the Week. We hope to see as many posts as possible on Tapestry of the Reading/Writing task and Number task weekly. 

 

   We understand that children may feel anxious during this period and we feel it is very important for the children to feel connected to school and their teachers. Please reassure them that they can contact us whenever you like and we will always respond to them.

When we came back into the classroom after lunch, there was a note on my desk saying “Miss Conwell told me you have been as good as can be... now look for our treats on the Christmas tree”. They then looked for our Christmas tree and noticed that all the decorations had been replaced by golden coins. Each child then searched the tree to find the chocolate coin with their name on. They were so excited and it was lovely to see.

After this, we went onto a double decker bus and got to go through the bus wash which the children found very exciting. What a wonderful adventure for the children.

We discovered today that the our Naughty Bus went on an overnight adventure. The caretaker asked us to look at the cameras and we saw that he had gone into our playground. The children were very excited to make posters and tell everyone about the naughty bus. I wonder if he’ll go on another adventure soon.
