UPDATE 12th March 2021
It has been a very smooth successful week and it has been lovely to see the children all back in school again. Thank you to all the parents for ensuring their children are back on time - our attendance this week has been just over 96% which is very positive to see.
Staff will be working tirelessly over the next few weeks to identify exactly where the children in their class area and putting in provision to ensure the children succeed and get the support they need on their return to work in school.
We would remind parents that, whilst things are moving in the right direction, there are still restrictions in place and we would ask that all parents who can wear masks while on site, dropping off or collecting thier children.
Thank you to all those parents who have returned devices that were lent to them during the period of lockdown. If you still have a school laptop at home, please bring this back as soon as possible so they can be checked and reused as necessary.
RAPID LATERAL FLOW TESTING
Households of all school pupils can get a twice-weekly test at a rapid lateral flow test site. These tests are for people who do not have any symptoms of Covid-19, but can identify if you may be infectious. You will get results in 30 minutes.
They are an important tool in helping to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Have a look at the document below information on where to have these tests or collect to do at home.

UPDATE - FRIDAY 12th FEBRUARY 2021
A big thank you to everyone involved in school for this half term - children, parents & staff. Under the circumstances, the term has gone very well and can, on the whole, be considered a success. Teachers have been getting to grips with the online provision and this has evolved and improved as the weeks have gone by. More children have been accessing the learning online and producing some extremely good work which has been a pleasure to see. Parents and families members have risen to the challenge and supported children with this learning and this is very much appreciated by all the staff. Support staff have been working with children who have been attending school to ensure they are accessing the same learning and we have seen plenty of smiling faces despite the challenging circumstances.
It is Half Term next week (Monday 15th - Friday 19th February) so please take time away from screens and enjoy time together as a family without having to worry about assignments for school!
We hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe half term.
A reminder that Monday 22nd February is an INSET Day. Teachers will be planning for the full return of children to school once the date has been finalised by the government. Online learning will start again on Tuesday 23rd February.
We hope everyone continues to stay safe and is coping well with the current situation.

IF YOU HAVE COVID-19 SYMPTOMS
We have had some children being sent into school while family members are getting tested. This may result in children in the class or year group being sent home to isolate when it could be avoided.
