How to make Miss Yarkan's Yummy Biscuits

Miss Yarkan's Yummy Biscuits



250g butter softened

150g caster sugar

1 egg

2 tsp of vanilla extract

300g plain flour


Step 1

Mix the butter and sugar in a large bowl with a wooden spoon. Then, add the egg and the vanilla extra and briefly beat to combine


Step 2

Add the flour and stir until the mixture is well combined - you might need to get your hands in at the end to give everything a really good mix and press the dough together.


Step 3 

Roll out the dough using a rolling pin and use your cutters to make different shapes.


Step 4

Put the biscuits onto a baking tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until they are lightly golden.

Miss Yarkan shows us how to make Playdough at home.

The ingredients you need are...

2 cups of plain flour

1 cup of salt

1 teaspoon of cream of tartar

2 cups of water

4 tablespoons of oil

A few drops of food colouring (if you have it)


Instructions are...

1. Add flour, salt and cream of tartar into a large mixing bowl.

2. Add the oil and food colouring with some water.

3. Mix it all together adding the rest of the water until it forms a ball.

4. Knead playdough, you can even add glitter if you have any!

5. Enjoy!
