Literacy
We are looking at the book 'Beegu' by Alexis Deacon.
Last week a strange spaceship landed in Yellow Zone! The children investigated, filled out Police Reports and asked questions using the words who, what, where, why and how!
Maths
In maths we have been looking at ways of finding more and less, using resources, numicon and number lines.
We have been looking at measurement, using words like bigger, smaller, taller, shorter, heavier, lighter, more and less to compare objects and amounts.
We are looking at doubling and halving numbers and amounts, using real objects and by drawing spots on ladybirds. We are using the key words double, the same, altogether, half, sharing, equal and fair.
