I am Cllr Toby Simon and I have been Chair of Governors since 2010. I am a member of Enfield Council, representing Enfield Highway Ward and I am Chair of its Overview and Scrutiny, Pension Investment, Remuneration and Members & Democratic Services Committees. I also am a Member of the Executive Committee of the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum and of the First-tier Tribunal Tax Chamber. I am a Magistrate on the  North London bench, chairing both Criminal and Family Court

I became a governor at Brettenham in 2010 and have been Vice Chair of the governing

body for the last four years. Previous to this I was a governor at Nightingale School.

Having three daughters who have gone through the education system I am passionate about ensuring all children get the best possible education they can.

I have worked in the governing body service at Islington for a number of years where I am now Head of service.

I work as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in London. I live in Edmonton with my son. I became a school governor to be an advocate for local parents to ensure our views are represented in the running of the school.

I am a Parent Governor and a Parent Representative for Brettenham School.
I am in my 6th year of  both of these roles within the school.
I am married with 2 children,

1 of whom attends the school, and  is in Year 3.

I am now a full time mum after a 20 year career in banking.

My Name is Sophie Hossain, I have been a parent governor and a parent representative at Brettenham since 2015. I also volunteer 2 days per week in school, reading with the children. I am a mother of 5 children  who have all attended and enjoyed Brettenham, I have always tried my utmost to guide my children in their education and always  encourage parental engagement and support for all the children at Brettenham in order for them to achieve their full potential.
